Volunteers spring into action to tidy the churchyard

Grateful thanks to the 16 volunteers, above, who spent their Saturday morning clearing the churchyard.

Their work involved digging, moving plastic rubbish, putting up bat and bird boxes, bird feeders and generally sorting years of dumped stones and other detritus. ​It was a great community effort and the skip was nearly full.

​Thanks also to Kath for her sterling work in the kitchen, sustaining the hard working volunteers with bacon sandwiches and cake. The tidy-up happens again from 10.30am on Saturday, April 2, so please join us!
