Volunteers needed to spring clean our churchyard

After the wind and rain of autumn and winter, we are looking forward to restoring St Lucius' churchyard to its normal orderly state, as in the picture above. But we can't do it on our own.

So we'd appreciate your help to clear rubbish and tidy the area on Saturday, March 19 and Saturday, April 2 from 10.30-12.30.  

We will meet in church and coffee and cakes will be on hand to boost your energy and reward your efforts. As there are brambles and nettles here and there, it would be wise to wear stout shoes, long sleeves and strong gloves.
