Screen fitted as development project nears an end

Joiners fit the new screen in place.
The end is in sight. Last August, an excavator began digging foundations for the toilet extension in the first phase of our development.

Yesterday joiners from Roebuck and Holmes were fitting the new limed-oak kitchen screen and preparing the wall to the right of the church entrance to receive a large oak cupboard.

Kitchen appliances and cupboards are due to be fitted next month and, all being well, our popular Community Café should be back in action before too long.

It is heartening that this project will have been completed within twelve months, as it will offer a new flexibility to St Lucius' Church to the benefit of the whole community.

Once again, we thank everyone who has contributed in any way to this project. Miracles really can happen.
Work begins on the new storage cupboard.
